life cycle

The original idea of recycling is a part of the life cycle in nature, so my recycled works could be distinct by using environmentally consumed material, construction waste, and demolition, etc. I try to assemble all that stuff with art into a new piece, we need it. These artworks are utilitarian and designed to be useful, practical, and attractive.

I pray to Allah to get my ideas helpful for humanity and to be easy for popular usage.

The Qamariya

June 29, 2017

The Qamariya is a multicolored Stucco Stained glass windows, and it is the most distinctive decorative symbol feature of Islamic architecture. It also usually has an arch above which spans a space and support weight above it. Now in our buildings we use a horizontal crosspiece over all opening, as a door or window, to carry the weight of the structure above it which called Lintel. My idea is to gathering both Qamariya and Lintel in one piece.

The Qamariya patterns formed with colored glass to sit above windows and doors or to install in walls as a decorative unit.

Qamariya patterns will cast their colors on the room. By this way, buildings could be lit by natural light and save electricity.

Besides, it will add a great natural beauty to our life.

Solid Cement Bricks

February 23, 2023

Construction process, renovation and demolition of buildings, roads, bridges, and other structures result in a huge amount of construction and demolition Waste. And it is also increase daily because of the enormous increase in population and consumption.

For me the challenge is recycling construction waste for safe use in construction, without moving it from the site.

The basic idea of recycling construction waste is to convert it into a homogeneous mixture then to add the cement after that mold the new mixture as solid cement bricks to be used in construction.

Produce bricks process:

Frist removing harmful substances from construction waste such as paper, wood residues, etc. Then crush and ground the raw materials in a grinding crusher machine. Ingredients are mixture together with water in a Blender machine. After that the ingredients are formed and press with piston in wooden forming molds to get the desired shape. In fact I do not have any of those machines, so we did all these process by the old way, manually, and we succeeded.

Production rates

Considering that 555 brick size 25 × 12 × 6 cm given 1m3

After the homogenization process for components and the addition of cement by 100 kg Portland cement for 1m3 waste.

1m3 waste + 100 kg Portland cement = 462 bricks.

The output of bricks per cubic meter can be calculated as follows:

The resulting amount of bricks from 1m3 of waste = 462 bricks

Each 1.2 m3 of waste given 1.00 m3 pressed bricks.

Advantages of Solid Cement Bricks:

Inexpensive, durable, easy to install, fireproof and Could be ornamented.

Breaks may be solid or hollow with two cores.
